Archon Logs were a series of logs picked up by civilian radio recievers on the planet Archon, found to be from a research facility based on an asteroid located in the same system, named 'Archon's Strela'. The research facility was owned by the Esther Institute, and was frequently supplied until the leaks of the logs. After the leak, the Institute announced the shut down of the facility after 'unfruitful research'. The Institute denied the occurence of any accident on the station.

All of the logs recieved from Archon's Strela was, and still is, encryped. After the smugglers made the logs available to wider web networks beyond Archon's system, many people were eager to attempt to crack the encryption out of morbid curiosity. The Institute made it illegal to be in possession of Archon's logs, and arrested no less than 3 people for the charge. However, this only further fueled the curiosity around the decryption of the logs.

Through bruteforce techniques, some parts of the transmission were recovered, such as the fact that these logs were indeed a distress call, and no less than 25 distinct distress calls were made. The distress calls ranged 4 days from the first one to the last, but all of them was sent at the same time. Many assume that this is because the anthenna on the station did not have a good angle to relay the transmission for the first 4 days where the distress calls were being made.

While bigger computers were used for bruteforcing the decryption process, the amount of technology and power required quickly alarmed Institution to any attempt. A big raid occured on Archon itself, and a very large supercomputer was seized by the Institute Security Forces. Some people say the League or the Foundation have cracked the code, but to this day, the contents of the distress calls are unknown to the general public.
